The biggest wedding of the decade to a man as cold as Nick Especially since securing it means she could finally prove to her father she's just as capable of handling the family business as him But as the competition heats up Erin and Nick must decide what's important winning or love. This is the second book in the series and has that great easy to read low angst feel to it as the first book but I have to admit I think I might have enjoyed Nick and Erin's story a little bit than Yasmin and Lane's I'm a sucker for rivals to lovers stories what can I sayNick was very easy to fall in love with You could tell that he had some sort of scars from his past that he struggled to let go of but he was still so easy going and genuine with Erin and the competition between them It was obvious that he was in it to win it but also obvious that his feelings for Erin wouldn't take a back seat to the competition I actually expected a different outcome from how things turned out but was pleasantly surprised to see that it worked out the best way it couldIf you're looking for an angsty sexually charged book then this is not for you If you want a light hearted sweet romance and can deal with closed door sex then I highly suggest you pick this one upI received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

The Wedding WagerNick Katsalos has a foolproof plan to save his parents' floundering wedding venue The last thing he expects is for Erin O'Malley the captivating daughter of his parents' biggest rival to waltz in and charm the client who could finally get the family business back on track Nick would. Two warring families both in the Wedding business and two characters cursed by the Romeo and Juliet lovestory Yeah you get the gist One thing that bound them was a wager for the wedding of a congressman's daughter who can't seem to decide where to hold her nuptials Would it be in The Aegian Palace where the food was scrumptious or at the O'Malleys where she fell in love with the chapel Nick Katsalos was all about the numbers and euations and finding mistakes whether in movies or in relationships Although not a big fan of weddings per se he decided to take over The Palace to help with the business and bring back his parents who had decided to settle in Greece He thought he was doing okay until Erin O'Malley struck a wager between them Erin knew what she wanted and she's determined to show her dad that she could do it that she could manage their wedding business without their help She just needed time and moral support from her family What she didn't need was the distraction that Nick caused Could their bet finally settle their differences or would they become enemies until the endI thought this was an honest to goodness romance story the kind that would make you chortle and bat your misty eyelashes in the end It may be the typical Romeo and Juliet story Greek vs Irish style without the deathtragedy She'd always thought the term chiseled was an exaggeration but Nick's features were so breathtaking he could've been handcrafted from priceless Athenian granite His Greek heritage was undeniable with his bronze skin and deep brown eyes and the sculpted set of his body beneath his tailored suit hinted at some kind of celestial involvement in its creation She took an extra breath to steady her pulse I don't know a thing about Greek guys but whenever I spy a book with a character who's Greek I always find my fingers clicking on the BuyDownload button for my Kindle I think I have a thing for Greeks where in fact I never knew or met one So yeah if you know any other contemporary romances with Greek men on it please show me You can't help but fall for Nick although I have issues with him constantly finding faults in movies like Pretty Woman and renaissance artworks And then there's Erin who's got a great fascination with mermaids Something we have in common although I don't have a tattoo of it on my back Seriously though I admire her willpower and resolve when it comes to protecting her family and her heart Can't say the same with her father though Overall The Wedding Wager was a fun read short but definitely sweet I read this while the rain was falling down the roofs like horses galloping in the night sky That kinda gave me the boost to finish this before going to sleep and giving me sweet dreams Perfect for hopeless romantics
